The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) continued its implementation of the water supply and environmental sanitation project in Yemen’s various districts, including Midi, Harad, Hayran, and Abs in Hajjah, as well as Al-Azhor camp in the Razih district of Saada.

Between August 2 and August 8, a substantial amount of water was provided, including 7,169,000 liters of potable water and 781,000 liters of water for domestic use. Additionally, 50 work shifts were dedicated to waste removal from camps accommodating displaced individuals.

Furthermore, in Saada governorate, 70,000 liters of potable water and 70,000 liters of water for domestic use were pumped, benefiting 30,100 people through these vital services.

Also in Yemen, the Prosthetic Limbs and Rehabilitation Center project, supported by KSrelief in Marib Governorate, provided in July a range of medical services to 348 Yemeni individuals who had experienced limb loss.

To date, the center has assisted a total of 1,307 Yemeni citizens, comprising 73% men and 27% women. Among the beneficiaries, 82% were displaced persons, while 18% were residents. The center’s services encompassed the manufacturing and fitting of prostheses, with 94 patients undergoing rehabilitation through physiotherapy, and 254 patients receiving specialized consultations.

These efforts are part of the Kingdom's ongoing humanitarian initiatives in Yemen, facilitated through KSrelief, aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
